Connect the strap to your wrist and connect the strap's alligator clip to a metal ground on the auto.4Pry off the clip for the wiring harness for the control module with a forked trim tool then move the harness away from the module.5Remove the retaining bolts towards the Powertrain Handle Module using a wrench then move the module away from the firewall.
Disconnect the electrical connectors by pressing their side tabs then remove the module diagnostics car tool.6Connect the electrical connectors towards the replacement module and set up it onto the firewall together with the bolts, making confident you do not touch the module's electrical terminals. Connect the wiring harness with its clip.7Reconnect the unfavorable battery cable using the wrench Auto tools.
