How to Reset the Laptop on a Chrysler Town & Country 1Locate the OBD port, which is the same size and shape as the scan tool's connective end; the port can be found on the underside of the driver's-side dash next to the steering column diagnostics car tool.
2Plug the scan tool into the port automotive diagnostic tools. Put the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position, taking care not to start the engine. This will power on most scan tools; if it doesn't, locate the on-off switch on the tool and turn it on.3Wait for the scan tool to retrieve the codes.
Locate the "Delete Codes" or "Erase Codes" command and select it. Wait for the tool to erase all codes.4Unplug the scan tool and start the engine. Check to make sure all lights have turned off on the instrument panel.
